01 Challenge

OSMEP needed a tool to assess the business capability of Thai SMEs across several dimensions, with results that both business owners and OSMEP staff can use.
02 Approach

BIGGO Analytics built a machine-learning scoring model that calculates scores across several dimensions and shows an A–E grade on a scoring gauge, with sub-scores by dimension, in a dashboard for business owners and OSMEP staff.
03 Outcome

The system is live at scoring.sme.go.th, and the project has been running since 2022.

Overview

SME Scoring / MSME Big Data is an SME business capability assessment system: a multi-dimensional scoring tool for Thai SMEs. It calculates scores across several dimensions and shows the result as an A–E scoring gauge. Sub-scores cover areas such as finance, marketing, internal processes and human resources. The tool helps SMEs understand their strengths and weaknesses and helps government target support programs.
